A one week workshop in Nina Lithuania September 2022 for students in Textile in the Art Academy of Vilnius.
Exploring our environment, scenting, touching, seeking new possibilities in nature.
The last day of the exhibition “Ocean Thread” 2018, I did in a collaboration with the Heritage Museum, kind of a goodbye ceremony, with the children from Eyrarbakki. The workshop started at the shore collecting seaweed to make seaweed monsters. It was a fantastic day with a lot of creativity and imagination with the children of Eyrarbakki.
During International Open Arts Project in Busan South Korea 2017, I gave a workshop with children using natural resources.
The workshop was about, a walk in the park or in the woods, watching nature closely, collecting “treasures” and create your own art-piece. It was a great opportunity for me to connect personally with the children and enjoy a day with them. And make the world a tiny bit smaller.
